Purpose
The Portola Boys Basketball Booster Club exists to support, encourage and advance the boys basketball program. Providing a clean, wholesome school spirit, promoting good sportsmanship and developing high ideals of character. The club will promote projects to improve facilities and equipment necessary to provide an adequate basketball program. The primary expenditures for the program are any major purposes for basketball, warm-ups, travel gear, uniforms etc., travel for tournaments, tournament fees, banquets and awards.
The Portola Boys Basketball Booster Club is a subordinate member in good-standing of Parent Booster USA Inc.
We are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt entity not-for-profit under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our EIN is 92-0675144. All donations made to the Booster Club are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
